Have You Ever Wondered…?
February 20th, 2006 | by Ed |Did you know that pastors, in their spare time, meditate on the profound mysteries of life–the deep philosophical and theological issues that have puzzled great minds for ages?
For instance, have you ever wondered…
Why sheep don’t shrink when it rains?
Why there isn’t mouse-flavored cat food?
Why there aren’t B batteries?
What happens to an 18-hour bra after 18 hours?
If you ate pasta and antipasta, would you still be hungry?
How they get deer to cross at the yellow cross sign?
Why there’s an expiration date on sour cream?
How a fool and his money got together in the first place?
Is it possible to be totally partial?
Why you don’t see the headline “Psychic Wins Lottery”?
Why kamikaze pilots wear helmets?
Why lemon juice is made with artificial flavoring, and dishwashing liquid is made with real lemons?
Why two wrongs don’t make a right, but three rights make a left?
What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it’s all about?
Just wondering.

There actually IS a B battery.
Back in the days of portable battery operated tube radios, there was an B battery to supply 90volts for the filaments (in addition to the A battery to supply 1.5 volts for the rest of the radio). Boy have we come a long way.
