Great Book Titles

July 9th, 2007 | by Ed |

I really appreciate a great book title. Here’s a few of my favorites.

  • All You Can Do Is All You Can Do, But All You Can Do Is Enough
  • Enjoying God…and Other Rare Events
  • Everybody’s Normal ‘Til You Get to Know Them
  • Maybe Life Is Just Not That Into You
  • Who Says Elephants Can’t  Dance
  • Adventures in Missing the Point

And my favorite is really a chapter title from the book Raised in Captivity, a chapter dealing with the subject of legalism entitled “101 Damnations.”

Anybody know some other great titles? Send them in.

Recently I went to Family Christian Bookstore looking for a title, “90 Minutes in Heaven.” When I asked the saleswoman there, she recommended another book called “23 Minutes in Hell” which she found for me, and I ended up purchasing and read. It was, amazingly, quite good.

Seems like 90 minutes in heaven is a mere taste, but about 23 minutes is all you can stand of hell.

How about “Under Water to Get Out of the Rain” written by a marine biologist? Sketches of a life on the shores of Scotland…
