Lori’s Back!

August 1st, 2007 | by Ed |

Our daughter Lori got back last night (well, actually this morning at 4:30 a.m.) from India. She spent the month of July in India, mostly in New Delhi working with street kids who had been taken into an orphanage. In her last week, she did get to do some sightseeing–Taj Mahal, Himilayan mountains, riding an elephant, riding a camel, and so on.

After temperatures of up to 120 degrees, our 90 degree temperatures will seem cool to her, especially since we have airconditioning. The first thing we did was to take her to the diner to taste American food again. Then home for a nice hot shower. She had a million stories to tell–some funny, some sad, some infuriating–but all fascinating!

It’s good to have you back home Lori!
