Struck By a Barley Loaf
January 4th, 2008 | by Ed |Welcome to 2008! With the holidays behind us, I’ll be continuing my series in the Book of Judges, entitled “Unlikely Heroes.”
This Sunday, we’ll be looking at Judges 7, which tells the story of Gideon’s bizarre battle stategy for winning the victory over the Midianites–something to do with clay pots, torches, horns and barley loaves (not your standard military issue).
My message is entitled “Struck By a Barley Loaf.”
You’ll learn some lessons in divine mathematics, unique military strategies, and how one man’s nightmare became Gideon’s dream.
If you’re facing a battle in your life or the attack of the enemy, you won’t want to miss this message. Gideon has a lot to teach us about spirituall warfare and how God gives us victory in the battles of life.
Hope to see you Sunday.
