More Sayings

For years I have been a collector of quips, quotes, proverbs, definitions, maxims, axioms, and other wise and insightful sayings. I have found that one wise and insightful proverb can penetrate to the heart of the matter like a laser beam (and say a lot more than long explanations can). I encourage you to start your own collection.
Anyway, some more sayings…
* God’s delay’s are not God’s denials. While we’re waiting, God is working.
* Faith is an active verb, not a passive noun.
* The greatest attacks on your faith are just before God gives birth to His purposes.
* God’s promises don’t come with an expiration date.
* A parked car needs no guidance.
* Be careful what you throw overboard during the storm.
* The Christian life is not hard, it’s impossible!
* You don’t become holy by living in a hole.
* Faith begins when you come to the end of your map.
* We work at jobs we don’t like, to make money we don’t need, to buy things we don’t want, to impress people people we don’t know.
