I’m a faith-explorer on a journey of faith.
During the course of my journey, I met an amazing woman, Janet, who (for some inexplicable reason) agreed to marry a poor kid from Newark. Together, we had four wonderful children—Patti, Nancy, Lori and Steven—of whom I’m very proud. I now have the awesome privilege of serving as senior pastor of the Montclair Community Church in New Jersey, which really is “what I always wanted church to be.” What more could a guy ask for!
Interests, Passions & Favorite Pastimes
Serving Jesus Christ…teaching God’s word…leading the church on an adventure of faith…taking long walks with my wife…watching my kids laugh…reading a good book (fantasy, historical fiction, leadership, and Christian living are my favorite types of books)…spending time with cherished friends…cheering for the Dallas Cowboys…and eating pasta.
